Welcome to the Korean War Educator

Honoring those who served and died in the Korean War and educating others about their sacrifice.

Website Dedication

A Korean War soldier standing on the ridge of a battlefield.

The Korean War Educator is dedicated with appreciation and remembrance to the thousands of American veterans who served and fought in war-torn Korea in 1950-1953 and in Korea thereafter. It is humbling to realize that they unselfishly gave up their yesterdays and tomorrows so that those of us enjoying freedom in the United States can have our todays.

The Korean War Educator also acknowledges the sacrifices of Korean War veterans from other nations who participated in allied efforts to free South Korea from communist aggression. It salutes the people of South Korea for their ability to survive a terrible war and develop their country into a prosperous, industrious nation. The sacrifices of the Korean War wounded and dead are recognized on this website.

Finally, the Korean War Educator extends a solemn thank you and note of endearment to the millions of Americans who suffered the grief of losing a family member or close friend during the war. You are invited to tour this site and learn more about one of our nation's bloodiest wars - the Korean War. Long may this war and its veterans be remembered, lest we forget the high price of freedom.
