In preparing the KWE's Year 2024 financial report for the State of Illinois, I ventured onto PayPal this evening to confirm the incoming contributions for that year. KWE readers need to know that even though this website is massive in nature, its creator and updater, Lynnita Brown, remains woefully lacking in certain computer skills, including handling PayPal notifications. It is with great embarrassment that I realized there were contributions made that I did not acknowledge from donors who have been dear to my heart for many years, as well as donors I do not know. Here are those generous 2024 donors and their gift amounts:
To all of you I offer my sincere apology for not even realizing the gifts had come in, and especially for not thanking each and every one of you for helping the Korean War Educator move forward in transitioning the site to a new hosting company. Needless to say, the PayPal funds are now being transferred into the KWE's general operating fund so they can be forwarded on to the CloudCarpenter team. I'm sad that I overlooked these but am elated that so many of you cared so much about the Korean War Educator that you stepped up to help out financially. The year 2024 was a tough year for the Korean War Educator following the death of our beloved webmaster Jim Doppelhammer. But things are looking up in 2025! - Lynnita
